Located directly on one of the most beautiful stages of the Pieterpad and within walking distance of the Rhine River and recreational lake De Bijland. The B&B has 2 rooms with private bathrooms and a private entrance through the impressive church doors at the front.

Every morning the hosts serve a full breakfast with healthy and fresh products in your room, in the organ gallery or, when the weather is nice, outside on the terrace.

Located on the Rhine, the B&B offers an ideal base for walking a stage of the Pieterpad, for cycling and discovering the beautiful nature reserve the Bijland.
Restaurants
Within walking and biking distance are several restaurants and a large supermarket. On the organ gallery is a combination microwave with grill function to warm up a meal.

B&B Het Schipperkerkje is located on the famous Pieterpad, making it an ideal place to spend the night to continue your route fresh the next day.
History
The 1st church building was built in 1936. In 2003, it was withdrawn from worship and dedicated to residential use. B&B Het Schipperskerkje opened in 2023.

Rightfully heavenly sleep and delicious breakfast. We really have nothing to criticize. Lovely bed and hot tub. Beautiful room, everything nicely decorated and above all: super clean. What a fantastic place, super hosts and a delicious breakfast with tips for beautiful walks. These gentlemen have completely mastered “pampering their guests.” Highly recommended!
Along the Pieterpad that we walk is the Schipperskerkje church. Not knowing what to expect we stepped inside with our mudskins; we were given a tremendously warm welcome by the gentlemen with little history about the little church and its surroundings. And then generously pampered! Spotless crisp bedding, towels so soft! and a full breakfast the next morning. Love for the b&b and the guests is palpable in every detail. If you have the chance, book your overnight stay here.
What a warm and welcoming welcome in a beautifully renovated church. Truly every detail has been thought of and the breakfast is truly delicious. Super nice bed and bathroom and you also have an extra room where you can read at a high table with a cup of coffee or tea or another nice drink. Ideally located on the Pieter Trail. You really can’t beat it here. Thank you for your warm welcome! Staying with you guys is truly an experience.
